Sandra K. Racicot, CLA, FRP
Ms. Racicot, President and CEO of THE LEGAL DEPT., INC., is a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) and Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) and began her career in the legal profession in 1973.
Ms. Racicot was a Certified Business Analyst with Florida Atlantic University’s Small Business Development Center in Boca Raton, FL, a volunteer business assistance program offered to entrepreneurs and funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration from March 2003 to February 2008. From September 2000 to August 2003, she served as president of the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP). She also served a 3-year term as a volunteer member of the City of Melbourne Affordable Housing Advisory Committee from 2008 to 2011. From January 2010 to June 2011, Ms. Racicot was a staff writer for Space Coast Golf Magazine.
After receiving an Associate of Arts degree and two Associate of Science degrees, including one in the ABA-Certified Legal Assistant program from Santa Fe State College in Gainesville, FL, in 1977, Ms. Racicot received her B.S. in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida in 1979, her Florida real estate salesperson license in 1989, her CLA certification in 1992, and her Florida Registered Paralegal designation in 2008.
